About Me

I’m a wife.  I’m a homeschooling mom.  I’m a part-time pharmacist.  I’m a newbie vegan, lupus fightin’ freak of nature and I’m laughing my way through life one crazy day at a time.  Welcome to Nutville.

Did you ever find out what is wrong with your legs? Is it directly associated with Lupus? I’ve had the same problem and have been to the doc a few times with no luck on them figuring out what’s wrong. I’m tired of seeing doctors and having them refer me to all of their golf buddies and have which means I’m dishing out a $20 copay every time. Anyway, I hope you can help. Thanks,

Yes, it’s directly related to the lupus.

Oh, Christa. I saw on your FB the link to your blog. Though we are just getting acquainted, I hope it’s ok that I came here and read a little piece of your life. May I just say, I love you? I love you. I love your honest, authentic, unpretentious, REAL. I love your over-coming power of love, hope, joy, and humor. I can already see that you are the cream of the crop, high quality of character, splendidly beautiful REAL DEAL. I know your sorrows are the molding influence. …The “broken into beautiful” principle.
I feel a deep kinship to you. Don’t want to weird you out but I feel like you could be one of my own daughters. We, too, are a nutty bunch. I do nicknames out the wazoodle. We struggle with lifes stumbling blocks in our pretty darn blunt, honest to goodness kind of ways. I’m more thankful than ever that our paths are crossing now with yours. So glad you are in the RPS family and looking forward to friendship adventures on the horizon.
My heart goes out to you and your family during these trying times. How blessed you are to have been given the parents you have, and how very blessed they are to have such a wonderful daughter to walk with them through this time. My prayers will continue for you and them daily now.

Well for Pete’s sake, Carolyn! God has brought you and I together!!! I have felt the exact same about you!!! I excitedly told Casey that we could take Owen to see the White House and stay with you and Paul and he thought I had lost my ever-loving mind! Lol. I knew it, though!!!! We are kindred spirits. We’re totally coming to stay. Maybe not soon but eventually!!!! Love you already, lady!!!!!
